Shopping in Louisville

Louisville shopping is a treat for the distinguishing tastemaker, the committed bargain hunter, and even the casual window shopper. With shopping districts from vintage to luxury scattered throughout Louisville and surrounding neighborhoods, it’s no wonder the Bourbon City has become a shopping destination for much of the South and Midwest.

Shopping in Downtown, Nulu & Shelby Park

Shopping in downtown Louisville is as varied as its dining scene. Find an authentic Louisville gift from the exquisite creations of glass at Glassworks, authentic Kentucky-made crafts at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, or souvenirs from the outstanding gift shops along Museum Row.

Just east of the central downtown business district is the Nulu Neighborhood, with locally owned boutiques, sweet shops, home décor and more.

And, a few minutes drive south is the Shelby Park neighborhood - home to the Logan Street Market. The public market has a wide variety of vendors ranging from produce to clothing to locally made art. You'll also find plenty of dining options, a wine bar, cocktail bar and special events.

Malls & Outlets

The East End/Hurstbourne area of Louisville has grown over recent decades to become a thriving collection of communities just minutes away from Louisville proper. For shoppers, The East End is where you’ll find three of Louisville’s largest shopping malls.

  • Mall St. Matthews is home to more than 140 specialty retailers including Arhaus, Ann Taylor Loft, Brooks Brothers, J. Jill, Pottery Barn & Williams-Sonoma and the largest Forever 21 in the state.
  • Oxmoor Center is a beautifully renovated shopping destination with favorites like Macy's, Von Maur, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, lululemon and Dick's Sporting Goods as well as 110 specialty stores.
  • The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass is Kentucky’s favorite Outlet Shopping Center. Just a short drive from Louisville, you'll find RH Outlet (Restoration Hardware), Coach, Kate Spade, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren and more.
  • The Paddock Shops are setting the pace for shopping and dining in Louisville. A pedestrian friendly, family environment with events, restaurants, and stores.
