RiverCityCon Board Game & RPG Convention
Louisville’s own board game and roleplaying game convention – RiverCityCon – is back for 2026! Taking place from January 23 to 25, this exciting event offers fans of board and roleplaying games a fun and welcoming place to learn, play, and connect with fellow gamers.

Sunday, January 25, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
We welcome people of all ages and skill/interest levels who enjoy playing board games, card games, role playing games, and social/party games. There are gaming options for single attendees, new and experienced gamers, and groups/families. Even if you attend by yourself, this is a great place to learn new games and meet new people. If you’ve never been and you just want to come check things out, we have single day badge options. This year we’re proud to announce that we’re a stop on the Tri-State Trail Tournament, which strives to connect gamers with community in the Tri-State area of Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
We have many events scheduled for the weekend including:
• Access to our 900+ board game library
• Many “play to win” board and card games, which you can check out from the library, play, and then enter a drawing to win a copy
• A room full of excellent vendors selling games and related merchandise
• Opportunities to learn to play new board games, including a special featured games area
• Game tournaments, many with a learn to play before, including such favorites as Crokinole, Loopin' Louie, Scout, Mountain Goats, Spots, Cafe Baras, Beaver Creek, and Cascadia
• Rob's classic tournaments, including Ticket to Ride, Splendor, and Kingdomino
• Family friendly events
• Gaming opportunities for single attendees or groups, including both new and experienced gamers
• Blood on the Clock Tower sessions all weekend
• Many roleplaying game sessions, with a special focus on Pathfinder and Starfinder
• Demos by publishers and local game designers
• Tri-State Trail Tournaments for Fliptoons, Stonespine Architects, and Lost Ruins of Arnak
