Grant Opportunities
Let us invest in you.
Launched in 2008, the Louisville Tourism Community Investment Committee supports the development of new events and tourism infrastructure that drives visitation to Louisville/Jefferson County and enhances the visitor experience.
The committee oversees the following grant opportunities for local organizations to enhance tourism's economic impact and the visitor experience. These grant dollars help our local assets thrive, which in turn improves our destination, thus ultimately boosting Louisville’s appeal to visitors.
Destination Development & Events Grant
This grant provides seed funds to support new projects and programs that draw out-of-town visitors to Jefferson County. Grant monies can also be used for existing projects that have changed in some significant way, or for implementing new advertising/promotion activities to reach a new market, thus attracting overnight stays.
Examples include:
- Festivals/Events- funds to offset event production & marketing/advertising
- Attraction/Experience Programming and Exhibits- funds to offset programming production & marketing/advertising
