Hometown Tourist Offers
In an effort to champion the power of travel and educate the local community about everything there is to see, do and enjoy in their own backyard, the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau’s annual Hometown Tourist Celebration will take place May 5 through 31.
Held each year in conjunction with National Travel & Tourism Week, the local celebration has been under way annually for more than a decade.
This year’s Hometown Tourist Celebration features 77 area attractions, hotels and restaurants offering deep discounts during the month of May to anyone with a valid Kentucky or Indiana ID, local college ID or military ID. In addition to special offers, several events will be under way throughout the city in honor of the festivities.
