Louisville Visitor Center

Let our destination experts help you plan your visit to Bourbon City.

The Louisville Visitor Center, located downtown at 4th & Jefferson Streets, is temporarily closed for renovation, the first full-scale overhaul in the Visitor Center’s nearly 20-year history. Reopening in Spring 2024, just in time for the 150th Kentucky Derby and PGA Championship, our reimagined Downtown Visitor Center will provide a more immersive and authentic Louisville experience to drive deeper engagement with community residents and visitors alike.

During the closure, our Visitor Experience staff will be tabling across the city at various attractions and hotels to provide destination information services. The rotation will begin this month at the Louisville Slugger Museum, Frazier History Museum, Evan Williams Bourbon Experience and Kentucky Derby Museum. Louisville Tourism staff will be on-site during the following dates & times:

Louisville Slugger Museum:

  • February 1 - 4 & 27 - 29
    • Monday - Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM
    • Sunday, 12 PM to 4 PM
