Louisville Unveils Uncle Boojie’s Homeplace

One of five new Bourbon attractions opening this year
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 4, 2025) – The bung has officially been pulled, and the best-kept secret in bourbon is now ready to be shared.
Uncle Boojie’s Distilling Company has opened its long-anticipated Homeplace in Paristown, located at 700 Vine Street, Louisville, KY 40204—a one-of-a-kind 4,500 sq. ft. bourbon experience steeped in Southern tradition and spirit.
At this newly renovated attraction, Uncle Boojie’s Bourbon Stewards lead guests on an immersive tasting journey that begins with a family recipe crafted over 200 years ago in Skeeter Holler in Howardstown, KY. Visitors will sample rich, full-bodied bourbon drawn straight from the barrel using a whiskey thief, tasting unfiltered, barrel-strength whiskey that tells the story of the land in every drop.
“At Uncle Boojie’s Homeplace, guests don’t just sip—they discover,” said Steve Smith, Proprietor of Uncle Boojie’s and Managing Partner of Paristown. “We pull barrels straight from the rickhouse, customers choose their favorite barrel and walk away with a labeled bottle filled by their own hands. It’s personal. It’s powerful. It’s unlike anything else in Kentucky.”
Once their perfect barrel is found, guests bottle and our team labels their selection—a one-of-a-kind keepsake from the experience. After the tasting, guests can enjoy hearty Down South comfort food, with Uncle Boojie’s Cocktail Crew on hand to mix signature bourbon cocktails to round out the visit.
Uncle Boojie’s Homeplace is also available for private rental for special events outside of normal operating hours. This charming, cozy and elegant venue can accommodate up to 72 guests for a seated dinner or up to 150 guests for a cocktail-style reception.
Uncle Boojie’s Homeplace is open Monday–Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sunday: 1 p.m–5 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged. Learn more and Book your visit at uncleboojies.com.
