30th Annual Garvin Gate Blues Festival Will Take Place at Central Park

Louisville’s largest free street music festival, Garvin Gate Blues Festival, returns for its 30th annual festival October 10th and 11th
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (September 3, 2025) – Louisville’s largest free street music festival, Garvin Gate Blues Festival, returns for its 30th annual festival October 10th and 11th.
Due to ongoing construction on Oak Street, this year's festival will take place in Central Park in the heart of Old Louisville. Central Park will offer expanded space for the expected crowds, two stages and better viewing for attendees.
The 30th annual festival will feature national and local blues artists. The full lineup and daily schedule will be released on a later date. Festival hours will be Friday, October 10, 6:00pm - 10:00PM and Saturday, October 11, 12:00PM - 10:00 PM.
New this year is the Garvin Gate Blues Festival Kickoff at Stevie Ray Blues Bar taking place on Thursday night, October 9 from 7:00PM – 10:00PM. Two bands that are performing at Garvin Gate, Deuce ‘N A Quarter (7:30PM - 8:30PM) and The Gina & Johnny Band (9:00PM - 10:00PM), will also perform at the kickoff party.
In addition to a full day of blues music, Garvin Gate Blues Festival will feature local vendors, food trucks, beer, drinks, and children's activities.
