Ida Clare is a local 4 piece bluegrassy Americana band. Their work is all-original, written by mandolin player, Jim Wheatley, with co-writing help by guitarist and lead vocalist, Lea Cockrell. They’ll take you on a musical journey that has its roots in bluegrass, folk, country and Americana. Although to define the work as simply one of these genres is not possible as the musicianship takes you on a journey that touches each of these styles with precision - leaving a fresh perspective and wanting more.
