LouGrass Sessions: Backwoods Bluegrass Band

LouGrass: A Celebration of Kentucky Music

Enjoy free Bluegrass by the Backwoods Bluegrass Band on Thursday, November 20th, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Backwoods Bluegrass Band.

Based out of Lawrence County, Indiana, the band has performed at numerous festivals and events. The band plays a mix of traditional bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, and a few songs from other genres that blend well with the Backwoods sound. They had the honor of performing at the Indiana State Museum as part of the Governor's Tribute in 2016, the NIBA Bluegrass Festival, and Bluegrass in the Valley. Backwoods has released two albums, "Backwoods Bluegrass Band" and the most recent "Revival". The band is currently working on material and arrangements for their next album. They enjoy playing at family functions, Church events, Festivals, and other gatherings.
