Holiday World & Splashin' Safari's drone and fireworks spectacular, Holidays in the Sky, returns brighter than ever for the 2025 season. This year, 500 synchronized drones — a few carrying pyrotechnics — will light up the night for an even more unforgettable experience. The show concludes with a fireworks finale.

Holidays in the Sky runs nightly from Saturday, June 21, through Sunday, August 3, for a total of 44 nights. The show features two thrilling pyrotechnic moments: a lightning strike to a haunted house, and a rocket-shaped drone formation with fireworks that simulate a real rocket launch.

2025 marks the fourth year the theme park has hosted their holiday-themed drone and fireworks spectacular. Last year, the show earned an amusement park industry award for innovation.

"We keep finding new ways to make Holidays in the Sky more impressive," said Lauren Crosby, Director of Events & Entertainment. "The new pyrotechnic elements are taking the show to the next level–you truly have to see it to believe it!"

This year's Thanksgiving section of the show features a new parody song, "Pour Some Gravy on Me." Performed by Happy New Month Band from Evansville Indiana, the song features cleverly rewritten words to the classic "Pour Some Sugar on Me," by Def Leppard. While the show will feature a short clip of the song, a full music video is available on Holiday World's YouTube channel.

"What we do best at Holiday World is downright silliness," says Leah Koch-Blumhardt, Director of Communications. "Happy New Month is full of such great talent and energy, and they served up a perfect performance. We even dumped a five-gallon bucket of gravy on a Thanksgiving table at the end!"

Weather permitting, Holidays in the Sky begins nightly at 8:50 p.m. The award-winning drone show is included with park admission. Tickets and Season Passes, including the FREE Pre-K Pass for children born between July 1, 2019 through October 26, 2021 are available online at www.holidayworld.com. Pre-K Passes must be registered online by 6/30/2025. Children three and under get in free.
