Oyster Pie

Oyster Pie

  • 1 pint shucked oysters with liqueur
  • 2 ½ c. oyster crackers
  • ¾ c. heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbs. Worcestershire
  • ½ tbs. hot sauce
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 3 tbs. butter

Put a layer of whole oyster crackers in the bottom of a greased pie plate. Douse with some of the Worcestershire and hot sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Break up oysters with your hands and put a layer on top of the crackers. Add another layer of crackers – crushing with your hands this time. Add some more of the Worcestershire, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Mix cream with oyster liqueur, hot sauce and Worcestershire. Pour into pie plate. Add another layer of oysters then a final layer of crackers – half crushed and half whole. Top with melted butter and season one last time with salt and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Bourbon Milk Punch

  • 1 c. whole milk
  • ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. powdered sugar
  • 2 oz. bourbon
  • Ground nutmeg

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a glass and garnish with ground nutmeg.
