In this episode Stacey and Jessica make Fried Apples and Bourbon Apple Pie
- 5 apples (tart and crisp preferred)
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 T butter
- 1 T bacon grease
Slice apples. Melt butter and grease in cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add apples, turning to coat.
Add sugar and cook for about 10 minutes or until desired softness.
Bourbon Apple Pie Cocktail
- 1.5 oz Bourbon
- 1 oz apple cider
- ½ oz cinnamon schnapps
- ¼ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 3-4 dashes black walnut bitters
- Apple wheel garnish
Add all ingredients but garnish to cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into coup glass and float apple wheel on top as garnish.
