Bourbon Roasted Turkey

  • 1 cup Orange Juice
  • 1 cup Kentucky Bourbon
  • ¼ sorghum (or honey or molasses)
  • 1 orange, quarted
  • 1 onion, quarted
  • Fresh sage sprigs
  • Butter

Mix all and add one turkey breast to large non-reactive bowl. Marinate at least 24 hours and up to five days (turning over each day).
Stuff with orange and onion quarters and fresh sage if desired. Roast 15 minutes per pound in the lowest part of a 350 degree oven.
Rub down with softened butter.
Cover top with foil for first hour of roasting.

Save marinade for gravy. Bring to a boil, reducing slightly. Add cornstarch to thicken.
