In this episode Stacey and Jessica make Blackberry Cobbler and Bourbon Cobbler cocktails.
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ½ cups + 1 tablespoon sugar
- ½ stick butter
- 2 cups fresh blackberries
Take ½ cup sugar and pour over the blackberries. Mix in 1 tablespoon of the butter. Microwave to heat through.
For pastry – blend flour, 1 cup of sugar and milk. Meanwhile, heat casserole dish in the oven with the remaining butter. Once butter is melted pour the dough into the casserole dish with the butter. Don’t stir.
Next, pour the blackberry mixture over top of the batter. Again, don’t stir.
Top with remaining tablespoon of sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes or until golden brown.
Bourbon Peach Cobbler
- 2 ounces bourbon
- ½ ounce Dubbonet
- ¼ ounce simple syrup
- Pinch of cinnamon
- ½ a fresh ripe peach
Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass with ice and garnish with a cinnamon peach slice.
