2016 National Deer & Turkey Expo Adds Partner
QDMA's National Convention to Join with Field & Stream and Outdoor Life Louisville Deer & Turkey Expo
LOUISVILLE, KY (May 21, 2015) - The Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) is excited to announce that its 2016 National Convention will be held side-by-side with the Third Annual Field & Stream and Outdoor Life Louisville Deer & Turkey Expo, which runs January 29 through 31 at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville.
“Joining with the Louisville Deer & Turkey Expo will give our members attending National Convention access to a world-class outdoor show,” said QDMA CEO Brian Murphy. “By participating in the Expo, QDMA will also have the opportunity to reach many more deer hunters with our great seminars, fun hunting activities and interactive learning opportunities. The partnership will undoubtedly produce the best National Convention we’ve ever held.”
"Deer and deer hunting are at the heart of the American hunter, and deer are a primary object of attention and affection for the audiences of Field & Stream and Outdoor Life," said Andrew McKean, editor-in-chief of Outdoor Life. "We're committed to showcasing and celebrating the best of both deer and turkey hunting at our Expos, and it's why we're excited to be teaming up next year in Louisville with the fastest-growing, most forward-looking group in America devoted to deer conservation, the QDMA."
QDMA will be bringing its popular and fun “Hunter Games Outdoor Skills Course” to the partnership for both QDMA Convention attendees and Deer & Turkey Expo attendees. QDMA Convention attendees will also enjoy the benefits of attending the Deer & Turkey Expo all weekend as part of their convention package, which includes access to all of the Deer & Turkey Expo seminars, demonstrations, shooting ranges, exhibits, special attractions, contests and displays.
QDMA’s National Sponsors will have an opportunity to purchase booth space from the Deer & Turkey Expo in an exclusive area located near QDMA’s “The Shed” booth within the Expo. Not only will QDMA Sponsors reach QDMA convention attendees but also an additional 10,000-plus Deer & Turkey Expo attendees.
“The Deer & Turkey Expos are growing rapidly, and 97 percent of the hunters they attract are focused on pursuing whitetails,” said Murphy. “This will be a great opportunity for QDMA and our National Sponsors to interact with a large, dedicated audience of deer hunters.”
The Field & Stream and Outdoor Life Deer & Turkey Expos are produced in five states (Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Wisconsin) and have a track record of connecting attendees who are hungry for hunting and product information, with companies and organizations who offer products and services.
