The Big Stomp

The Big Stomp, formerly known as PeteFest and the nation’s first music festival to focus on mental health, will return in 2024 with the two-day festival on Friday July 26th and Saturday July 27th. The festival will again take place at Jones Fields - a scenic, 90-acre nature preserve located in southeastern Jefferson County, adjacent to the Parkland’s Turkey Run park.

Now in its eighth year, The Big Stomp began as an annual outreach event for The Pete Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to destigmatizing mental health and expanding access to mental health crisis intervention. With the emphasis on growing the lineup’s reach, the festival will also double down on the mental health component featuring experiences that provide tools needed for mental health awareness and resiliency. Merging entertainment and wellness, fans will not only enjoy two days of live music and local food and beverage, but also have the opportunity to learn about healthy habits, practices, and mindfulness.
