Group Sales Manager
I am the Group Sales Manager at The Frazier History Museum. I schedule all adult groups that come to the Museum. Additionally, I lead Guided Tours of The Spirit of Kentucky® Bourbon Exhibit, lead Bourbon Tastings as well as assist in leading The Ready Set Go Bourbon Experience that we offer at the Museum. I also act as the main contact with Louisville Tourism in helping promote the Museum locally, nationally and internationally.
I was hired on November 30, 2017 and my title was Community & Corporate Sales Manager. My job titles have predominantly been sales-related, so Sales Manager has been a fairly common title for me.
What I like the most about The Frazier History Museum is they give me the flexibility to help craft my own success hand in hand with the success of the Museum.
My biggest “aha” moment in my career occurred when I realized job gratification was more important than just making money. Making money is very important and when you can do that and love where you work, you have hit the jackpot!
My favorite thing is that I get paid to tell stories about my State, City and Bourbon!
My advice for those getting into the hospitality industry is that preparation is the key to success. Control what you can and deal with the rest, things happen daily that are beyond our control.
