Holiday In the City

Louisville was just recognized for having One of the Best Winter Wonderlands in America (according to LeafFilter INC), and now is the ideal time to make the city your year-end destination for some festive fun.

Back for the second straight year is the family-friendly Holiday in the City celebration.

The month-long festivities have transformed the plaza at Fourth and Jefferson streets in downtown Louisville into a Holiday Square.

The area is home to an outdoor ice-skating rink and the city’s official holiday tree. The rink is open through Jan. 15.

After visiting Holiday Square, be sure and follow the Gumdrop Trail to 4th Street Live!, where you can browse vendor chalets and purchase unique, handmade gifts.

Holiday in the City runs through Dec. 23.
