Any advice for those seeking jobs in the industry: There are so many diverse opportunities in the hospitality industry from hotels to convention centers, attractions to sports facilities. They all have sales and services teams, bookkeeping and accounting departments, restaurants and banquet facilities. Literally the list is endless so there is something for everyone in our industry. It's a good clean industry that makes a difference in the community you are in. The people in the industry are friendly, service and goal oriented and generally fun to work with. My path is one that you could not necessarily see when I started but each opportunity became clear at the time they were open and I just had to pursue them. It has been a fantastic journey for over 37 years. I have traveled much of the world and made many friends in our industry and am always happy to speak with anyone who is considering our industry for their career choice.
