Zack Davis ESPC, CMP

Vice President of Destination Services

Biography: Zack leads Louisville Tourism’s destination services and visitor experience efforts, overseeing more than 600 meetings and events annually while bringing a career‑long background in marketing, convention services, industry leadership, and destination advocacy.

Zack’s team is responsible for the overall destination experience for more than 600 meetings, conventions, and events that draw over 3.2 million attendees annually, while also connecting businesses in the community to those events and to one another. Zack also oversees destination management and advocacy initiatives focused on enhancing the visitor experience. Zack began his career at Louisville Tourism as a Convention Services Manager, working directly with meeting and event professionals. Following this role, as the Director of Marketing, Zack led the destination’s overall advertising, branding, and marketing strategies, including a complete brand transition. Zack took over as Vice President of Destination Services in 2018. Zack currently serves on the Board of Directors as the First Vice President for the Event Service Professionals Association and on the Louisville Downtown Management District Advisory Council.

He has been recognized as “20 People to Know in Marketing and Advertising” by Louisville Business First. Other awards include the 2013 Convention Services Manager of the Year by the Event Service Professionals Association (ESPA) and Successful Meetings. Zack was also named a top “40 under 40” industry leader by Connect in 2014.

Zack graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in communication, in 2012 earned his Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification and in 2023 earned the Event Service Professional Certification (ESPC). Prior to working at Louisville Tourism, he was with Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. Zack also served six years in the Marine Corps Reserves with Echo Company 4th Tank Battalion. He is married with three children. Zack is also a connoisseur of all things pizza.
