Live on Waterfront Lawn Concert Series Amends Seating Policy

“Live on the Lawn at Waterfront Park” lighting up Louisville with live events

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 14, 2021) – Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP), the festival promoter and producer of Louisville’s well-known Bourbon & Beyond, Louder Than Life and Hometown Rising festivals, has been producing a new concert series in Louisville which will undergo seating changes based on revised statewide public health guidelines.

The “Live On The Lawn At Waterfront Park," the series will no longer be configured in a “socially distanced” pod model.

If fans purchased reserved seating in the Premium Reserved Section 1, the seating location will remain the same as they purchased - just the physical barrier of the pod will be removed. Chairs will be provided and placed in exactly the same spot of the purchased pod.

Fans who purchased a general admission ticket in Section 2, Section 3 or GA Lawn will still have a GA area located in the same general purchase space to view the show from, with the added bonus of now being allowed to bring in their own lawn chairs within that section. Please visit www.liveonthelawnlou.com to see details on what sized chairs are allowed. Blankets are also allowed.

Live On The Lawn is pleased to let fans know that more tickets have been added to the previously sold-out Shinedown, with special guest Pop Evil concert on Saturday, August 7.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now. For more information and a full list of FAQs, visit www.LiveOnTheLawnLou.com.

The scenic Waterfront Park along the Ohio River is adjacent to downtown Louisville, and in February was named the #6 Best Riverwalk in the country in USA Today's 2021 “10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards.”
