Louisville Haunts and Legends

The Waverly Hills Sanitorium, an abandoned Tuberculosis hospital that opened in 1910. It's consistently named one of the most haunted places in the country and offers tours of the old ward and even the body chute, which was once used to transport patients. During the Halloween season it turns into a thrilling haunted house and offers exclusive overnight visits.

From the Old Louisville neighborhood that was once named ‘America’s Most Haunted Neighborhood’ to the historic and haunted Seelbach Hotel to the legend of the Pope Lick Monster, a curious part-man, part-goat creature who resided near the Parklands, there are plenty of haunts and legends to explore outside of Spooky Season.
