The Louisville & Jefferson County Visitors and Convention Commission ("the Commission") doing business as Louisville Tourism, has been established pursuant to the provision of Sections 91A.350(1) and 91A.370(8) of the Kentucky Revised Statues ("KRS") for the purpose of promoting recreational, convention and tourist activity in Louisville and Jefferson County, Kentucky.
The Commission is composed of ten (10) members appointed by the Mayor of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government ("Metro Government") and the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky ("Commonwealth").
Six (6) members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor of the consolidated local government for a term of three (3) years. The Governor of the Commonwealth shall appoint three (3) members of the commission for a term of three (3) years. The president and chief executive officer of the Kentucky State Fair Board shall be a member of the commission and shall serve by virtue of his or her position.

All regular meetings occur at 3:00 PM at the Louisville Tourism Office (401 W. Main St., Suite 2300, Louisville, KY 40202) unless noted or communicated.
*Due to a conflict in scheduling/holiday these meetings are scheduled for an alternate Thursday of the month.
