Nightmare Run is Louisville's clue-solving Halloween ghost run — a scavenger hunt you drive yourself. Start at the Lowe's on Preston Highway, pick up your clue sheet, and follow rhyming two-line road clues that route you through the dark on back roads around Louisville and Southern Indiana. The run ends at two haunted attractions, and your ticket includes Fast Pass admission to both, so you skip the regular ticket line at each one. Buying Fast Pass at those two haunts separately would run about $80 a person; the whole Nightmare Run ticket is $30. Runs Fridays and Saturdays, October 2-31, 2026. Start any time between 6:30 and 10:00 PM. Everyone 18 and older in the car can submit their mileage to be eligible for prizes. Tickets at nightmarerun.com.
