Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 7:30pm - Valley High School
Friday, November 13, 2026 at 7:30pm - Neighborhood House
Music Without Borders brings the Louisville Orchestra into community spaces across the region, creating welcoming, accessible opportunities to experience live orchestral music close to home. Designed for longtime concertgoers and first-time audiences alike, each program pairs great orchestral music with a theme that makes discovering something new easy and inviting.
Experience the orchestra from a global perspective with Music Without Borders: Across the Globe. Led by conductor Na’Zir McFadden, this program travels through a wide range of musical landscapes, from the colorful energy of Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italien to the powerful rhythms and contrasts of Stravinsky’s Symphony in Three Movements.
The evening also features Bernard Rands’ Adieu for brass quintet and strings, along with Seare Ahmad Farhat’s Moved by the Beauty of the Trees, featuring vocalist Jean Bernard Cerin. Together, these works explore place, memory, movement, and the many ways music can connect us across cultures and experiences.
Whether you are a longtime orchestra fan or trying something new, Across the Globe offers an inviting way to experience the power and range of live orchestral music.
