Ida Clare is a local 4 piece bluegrassy Americana band. Their work is all-original, written by mandolin player Jim Wheatley, with co-writing help from guitarist and lead vocalist Lea Cockrell. They'll take you on a musical journey rooted in bluegrass, folk, country, and Americana. Although defining the work as simply one of these genres is not possible, the musicianship takes you on a journey that touches each of these styles with precision, leaving you with a fresh perspective and wanting more.
