Global Views: Expanding Horizons

Global Views: Expanding Horizons, is a new exhibition celebrating the diverse voices and artistic perspectives of fifteen artists whose multicultural backgrounds enrich their creative work.

Featured artists include Eugenio Cerrosi, Ying Kit Chan, Fong Choo, Carlos Gamez de Francisco, Alexander Rivero Garcia, Rex Lagerstrom, Humberto Lahera, Elmer Lopez, Elizabeth Naiditch, Vishad Samami, Makara Sernett, Suyun Son, Hector Urdaneta, Anil Vinayakan, and Lena Wolek.

The exhibition will be on view September 26 through December 18, 2026, at Prospect City Hall.

The public is invited to an Opening Reception on Sunday, September 27, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., where visitors will have the opportunity to meet many of the exhibiting artists and experience a remarkable collection of paintings, mixed media, and other original works inspired by cultures from around the world.

Returning alongside the exhibition is the popular Prospect ArtistsMarket, featuring local artists offering original artwork, pottery, jewelry, textiles, and handcrafted pieces for purchase. The ArtistsMarket will be held in the second-floor library on:

• Saturday, September 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Sunday, September 27, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
