Dawn at the Downs is a cherished tradition for both Louisvillians and visitors alike. Racing fans gather to watch Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks contenders during their morning workouts, all while selecting their favorites for the weekend's races.

Oaks and Derby Horses only: Exclusive training window only for Derby (yellow saddle towels) and Oaks (pink saddle towels) participants from 7:15-7:30 a.m. Training continues for all other horses until 10 a.m.
