18th Annual Victorian Ghost Walk
Victorian Ghost Walk® — 18th Annual Halloween Event
Featured in HBO’s Murder in Glitterball City!
Step into the atmospheric streets and grand Victorian mansions as seen on HBO when David Dominé’s Victorian Ghost Walk® returns to historic Old Louisville for its 18th year, October 16–18, 2026.
Unlike a traditional ghost tour, this beloved annual event is an immersive “porch-and-parlor play” presented by the South Fourth Street Association under the direction of Keith McGill. Guided groups travel through the gaslit streets of Old Louisville and enter select historic residences, where costumed actors bring the neighborhood’s legendary spirits and darker history to life.
Meet witches and hoodoo priestesses, resurrectionists, tragic servants, fallen millionaires, and some of Old Louisville’s most famous ghosts—all against the spectacular backdrop of one of America’s largest Victorian preservation districts.
The Third Weekend in October Only!
The Victorian Ghost Walk® takes place one weekend only each year, with 13 performances nightly, departing every 15 minutes beginning at 6:00 p.m. Tours begin and end at the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum, 1402 St. James Court, and last approximately two hours. The event is rain or shine and is not wheelchair accessible due to steps, lawns, and uneven terrain.
Author and event creator David Dominé, whose bestselling true-crime memoir inspired HBO’s Murder in Glitterball City, will be on hand to meet guests and sign books.
