We have won more awards than any other distillery in the world. Take our tour and discover why. We proudly hold the title of the oldest continually operating distillery in America, remaining operational even during Prohibition - for "medicinal" purposes. A trip to Buffalo Trace offers visitors a taste of history, heritage and of course, fine Kentucky Bourbon. Rich in history and hospitality, Buffalo Trace has something to offer everyone. The distillery sits on 130 acres with four centuries of architecture represented on site. The grounds are beautifully manicured all year long with colorful blossoms in the spring and vibrant foliage in the fall. Hard Hat Tours are available October - April for a "behind the scenes" look into the bourbon making process - just call ahead for a reservation, but all our tours are complimentary. We welcome individuals and groups for tours.

The Elmer T. Lee Clubhouse is available for meetings and events for up to 300 people. The Clubhouse's rustic veranda and balcony overlook an expansive tree-shaded courtyard, which is bordered by an ornamental stream, and floral gardens that present seasonal blooms from spring through fall. During the winter months, enjoy the large stone fireplace to add to the ambiance of your meeting or event.
