For over 200 years, Buffalo Trace Distillery has been defined by a dedication to one craft: making fine bourbon whiskey.

The Distillery's rich tradition dates back to 1775, and it is a National Historic Landmark, as well as listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its history includes such legends as E.H. Taylor, Jr., George T. Stagg, Albert B. Blanton, Orville Schupp, and Elmer T. Lee.

Located along the banks of the Kentucky River in Frankfort, visitors can explore historic barrel warehouses, see copper stills in action, and walk the same grounds where bourbon has been continuously distilled through Prohibition and beyond.
