Louisville's Margarita Mile

Try some of the city's best margaritas all within a half-mile stretch spanning the lively NuLu neighborhood.

First stop on the Margarita Mile is Los Aztecas - a colorful & authentic Mexican restaurant. Try a variety of flavors such as classic lime, mango or peach on the rocks or frozen!

For your next stop, pop in Garage Bar. Formerly an auto-service garage, the restaurant is known for their brick oven pizzas. Order a watermelon margarita to go along with your slice!

Next up is the Cuban-inspired hot spot, La Bodeguita de Mima! Enjoy their classic margaritas by the glass or pitcher on their covered patio and front porch, or inside accompanied by live music.

For an out-of-this-world cocktail experience, head down the block to Galaxie - where the house margarita comes in a classic or spicy version! They have their very own "Margarita Week" in February. Be sure to wash it all down with a "wakataka" - their signature flat bread tacos.

The indigenously-inspired Mayan Café doesn't shy away from flavor with their two signature margaritas - Spicy Peach and Blood Orange. Pictured is a grapefruit-basil margarita that was made as a seasonal special, so don't forget to see what kind of other concoctions the bar is mixing up. Also, enjoy traditional, farm-to-table Mayan cuisine in their cozy dining room.

Next up is the new kid on the block, Guaca Mole, which recently moved from its East Louisville location into a newly renovated space located in the old Rye building. See if you're luck enough to grab a spot on their rooftop patio before trying their signature swirl margarita - a combo of their classic swirled with house made red sangria or one of their margarita flights.

The last stop on the Margarita Mile is Feast BBQ - home of the Bourbon Slushie! Newly added to their menu is the MangoRito, a refreshing summer cocktail where mango and tequila meet Jarrito's Mexican Soda.
