The 2015 Louisville Photo Biennial will be held from September 25, 2015 to November 7, 2015 throughout Louisville Metro, Southern Indiana, and surrounding communities, including Frankfort, Bardstown, and Lexington.

Louisville, KY -- The 2015 Louisville Photo Biennial will be held from September 25, 2015 to November 7, 2015 throughout Louisville Metro, Southern Indiana, and surrounding communities, including Frankfort, Bardstown, and Lexington. More than 60 photography exhibitions – spanning traditional to contemporary, local to global work – are mounted at museums, galleries, universities, and cultural institutions. The Louisville Photo Biennial also presents accompanying workshops, public lectures and panel discussions to stimulate learning and reinforce visual literacy.

The Louisville Photo Biennial is the premier photography festival serving the region. Sixty-five photographic exhibitions will be presented this year, representing an on-going cooperative effort since 1999 among local museums, galleries, universities and cultural institutions.

This year, the Louisville Photo Biennial is increasing public programming, providing more lectures, gallery talks, panel discussions, portfolio reviews, workshops and photography events.
