A whirlwind of recent Bourbon tourism projects are soaking Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 8, 2023) – A whirlwind of recent Bourbon tourism development projects are soaking Louisville’s Whiskey Row and adjacent areas. Log Still Distillery will add a fine dining and tasting room venue near the KFC Yum! Center on Whiskey Row. The brand has a large presence on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® and is eager to add an attraction in Bourbon City. The venue, which will be called Monk’s Road Boiler House, is scheduled to open in the spring.

Additionally, a new boutique hotel and bourbon experience is planned downtown featuring 20 Airbnb-style units. Derby City Lofts is slated to offer the units alongside a bourbon experience, and is working with Marianne Eaves, the first female master distiller in Kentucky, on a bourbon concept for the bourbon build-out, which could include a speakeasy or tasting room. Plans will be finalized soon, and construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2024.
