Louisville Debuts Hilton’s Newest Brand During Groundbreaking Ceremony
Inaugural Tempo Hotel Sets the Pace in Louisville’s Trendy NuLu Neighborhood
LOUISVILLE, KY (March 12, 2020) – Fittingly announced in Louisville’s trendy NuLu neighborhood, a new Hilton hotel brand - Tempo by Hilton - broke ground on a 130-room, six-story hotel with a rooftop bar, located at 710 East Jefferson Street. Louisville is home to the first Tempo by Hilton property in this new collection, which is slated to open in time for the 2021 Kentucky Derby.
In line with the localized touches in each property, the Tempo by Hilton Louisville Nulu will offer a lobby coffee/tea ‘Fuel Bar’ as well as innovative café-style food & beverage options serving a variety of options including smoothies, lattes and breakfast sandwiches. The hotel will have an in-lobby bar specializing in both spirited and non-spirited craft cocktails.
A signature addition to the hotel will be a rooftop bar, allowing patrons to sip in style as they take in Louisville’s skyline. The property will include flexible meeting space, which is non-traditional meeting spaces for small groups, as well as a 1,000 sq ft fitness center.
Breaking ground less than eight weeks from the Tempo by Hilton brand launch, this milestone marks one of the shortest time periods from brand announcement to groundbreaking in Hilton history.
