Free Art Festival Returns to Waterfront Park

The Big Four Bridge Art Festival returns for a second year September 8-9 under the Big Four Bridge.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (August 24, 2018) – The Big Four Bridge Art Festival returns for a second year September 8-9 under the Big Four Bridge. The show features art from 200+ local, national and international artists. The festival is free and open to the public on Saturday and Sunday.

The two days will showcase music, food trucks and kids activities alongside the art.

Foggy Bottom Farm will be have llamas, with the popular pink llamas from 12-5pm daily, as well as angora rabbits and other kid-friendly animals. There will also be a children’s paint and drawing station where children will be encouraged to paint on a collaborative canvas project, as well as rock painting for a take home memento. The Loom House will be in the children’s area with baby looms for children to practice and learn about the art of weaving. A kite display will soar (weather permitting).

Each year, the Big Four Arts Festival invites guests to meet the artists with the Big Four Arts Festival Awards Party. Guests have exclusive access to select artist booths in the Big Four Arts Festival to view the art of the guest artists with food and beverages provided and meet and greet with the artists.
