Downtown Hometown Tourist Celebration Returns Offering Discounted Admissions
Local residents encouraged to discover – or rediscover – Downtown attractions Jan 23 – Feb 1
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (January 6, 2026) – Louisville Downtown Partnership (LDP) announces the return of Downtown Hometown Tourist Celebration in partnership with Louisville Tourism. The ten-day celebration invites residents of the Greater Louisville area to rediscover Downtown Louisville by providing discounted admission for well-loved or new-to-them attractions.
Taking place from January 23 – February 1, the Downtown Hometown Tourist Celebration offers half-off admission at participating Downtown attractions to individuals with a valid Kentucky or Indiana ID, local college ID, or military ID. Other venues are offering other discounts during this promotional period.
“The Hometown Tourist Celebration is a great opportunity for residents throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana to take advantage of the special discounts and enjoy the many cultural and entertainment assets of Downtown Louisville,” said Rebecca Fleischaker, executive director of LDP. “Whether you're revisiting a favorite spot or discovering something for the first time, this celebration is all about getting people Downtown and exploring all it has to offer.”

Multiple Downtown hotels and retailers also are participating with special rates and promotional packages throughout the celebration, including the Brown Hotel, Cambria Hotel Louisville Downtown, Louisville Marriott Downtown, Omni Louisville Hotel, Tempo by Hilton, and The Seelbach Hilton Hotel. Additional Downtown retailers offering varying discounts during the celebration include Derby City Gaming, Proof on Main, and Wild Swann. Visit LDP’s website for reservations.

Tickets for admission can be purchased online by individual location or multiple days and locations together. Walk-ins are welcome, but purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.
