Celebrating Kentucky Wines

The Kentucky Winery Association and the Kentucky Grape and Wine Council will hold a Celebration Dinner on November 14th to honor the winners of the Commissioner's Cup competition, the highest recognition awarded in the Commonwealth to the top Kentucky wine of the year in each of the following categories: Dry Red Wine, Dry White Wine, Rose/Blush Wine, Sweet/Dessert Style/Fruit Wine and Boutique (Small Production) Wine.

Louisville, KY – The Kentucky Winery Association and the Kentucky Grape and Wine Council will hold a Celebration Dinner on November 14th to honor the winners of the Commissioner's Cup competition, the highest recognition awarded in the Commonwealth to the top Kentucky wine of the year in each of the following categories: Dry Red Wine, Dry White Wine, Rose/Blush Wine, Sweet/Dessert Style/Fruit Wine and Boutique (Small Production) Wine.

The event is open to the public and puts the spotlight on the proud craft of Kentucky wine-making. The celebration will be held at the Mercury Ballroom from 6:00pm - 10:00pm, and includes a cocktail hour and dinner with awards presentation. The feature will be tasting the winning wines and learning about this time-honored tradition in our state.
