Bourbon, Brunch & Bluegrass Returns to Kick Off America’s Largest Bourbon and Rock Fests
Bourbon and Kentucky themed activities such as bourbon barrel rolling, bourbon tray carrying and stick horse racing contests
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (September 2, 2025) – Louisville’s vibrant NuLu neighborhood is hosting the second annual Bourbon, Brunch and Bluegrass event. This year, there will be a second event also taking place in NuLu for Louder Than Life. On Saturday, September 13th and Saturday, September 20th these festival pregame events will take place from 11am – 3pm with participating NuLu businesses offering shopping, food & cocktail specials.
Bourbon and Kentucky themed activities such as bourbon barrel rolling, bourbon tray carrying and stick horse racing contests will take place on S. Shelby St. between Market St. and Jefferson St.
Additionally, live bluegrass music will take place across two stages. The Nanny Goat Strut stage located on S. Shelby St., as well as the NuLu Marketplace stage located within NuLu Marketplace. There will be a full bar and beer booth on S. Shelby St. along with a commemorative photo op, live bourbon barrel art, and local food trucks with brunch offerings.

Alongside local food trucks, many NuLu and nearby restaurants will be serving up delicious brunch and lunch for both dine-in and carryout. Visit nulu.org/bourbon for the updated list. There will also be a free courtesy shuttles out to the festival grounds running from 12-3pm.
