31st Annual Garvin Gates Blues Festival Returns
Enjoy two days full of blues music and more
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 16, 2026) – Louisville’s largest free street music festival, Garvin Gate Blues Festival, returns for its 31st annual festival on Friday, October 9, 6:00pm - 10:00PM and Saturday, October 10, 12:00PM - 10:00 PM, at the corner of Garvin Place and Oak Street, with two stages of continuous music.
This year's festival will feature national and local blues artists from two stages. The full lineup includes a “Ladies of The Blues” night on Friday at the FMS/KBS stage with performances from artists Toni Green, Eden Brent and Walnut Street Rhythm & Blues Band. On Saturday, enjoy a full day of music including Tee Dee Young, Tyrone Cotton and Screamin’ John Blues Band and Da Mudcats, just to name a few.
In addition to a full day of blues music, Garvin Gate Blues Festival will feature local vendors, food trucks, beer, drinks, and children's activities.
Garvin Gate Blues Festival is a celebration of both the blues and the arts, our festival attracts a multiracial, intergenerational audience. In addition to continuous live entertainment from some of the best blues bands, the festival has an array of food and drink vendors.
