Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest is a private non-profit, 14,000 acre nature preserve located just outside Louisville, Kentucky. Over 2,000 acres are open to the public, including natural areas with hiking trails, and a beautiful 250 acre arboretum with lakes, walking paths and over 8,000 varieties of labeled plants.
