Pimento Cheese Mac and Cheese & Kentucky Arnold Palmers

Pimento Cheese Mac & Cheese

  • 2 T flour
  • 2 T butter

Make roux then add:

  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic
  • ¼ tsp cayenne

Keep stirring until thickened, melt in 1 ½ cups pimento cheese.

Add one box cooked pasta.

Pour into casserole dish.

Bake one hour at 350.

Top with additional cheddar (1 cup) and brown for 10 minutes.

Kentucky Arnold Palmer

  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Unsweet tea
  • Lemon wheels

I'm a shaker with ice, shake bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup. Strain into a highball glass with ice. Top with tea and garnish with a lemon wheel.
