Steady your steins and ready your “Prosts!” — Oktoberfest season is right around the autumnal corner. While the original Munich Oktoberfest is across the Atlantic, there’s still plenty of German beer to go ‘round in Bourbon City. Check out these 9 Oktoberfest celebrations happening through October.
German American Club Oktoberfest | Friday, September 5, 4-11 p.m. & Saturday, September 6, 2-11 p.m.
- Features: Traditional German dinner & beers, family-friendly, polka music
- Admission: $10 for those 21+
- Location: German American Club is an indoor/outdoor venue nestled among tree-lined residential streets in the Camp Taylor neighborhood near the Louisville Zoo & is dedicated to preserving and sharing of German heritage.
