13 Thunder Over Louisville viewing parties

Thunder Over Louisville kicks off the Kentucky Derby Festival with the largest annual fireworks show in North America. While the 30-minute pyrotechnic display is the main event, the celebration spans throughout the entire day — featuring an afternoon airshow and Thunder on the Ground at Waterfront Park, which is free with a 2026 Pegasus Pin.
