Pegasus Porch Parade

Since 1956, Louisville has celebrated the Kentucky Derby Festival with the signature Pegasus Parade marching down Broadway on the Thursday before the Kentucky Derby. Though this annual tradition has had to accommodate a pandemic, it will be marching on this spring in a series of pop-up over the weekend of April 10-11. Over those two days, the Zoeller Pump Pegasus Parade
will cover 60 miles and more than 35 neighborhoods as it travels throughout Louisville and Southern Indiana. To celebrate the Spirit of Derby Festival all season long, many locals are decorating like never before for the Pegasus Porch Parade in hopes one of these pop-ups will hit their street. And if not, we’ll all enjoy the extra dose of #DerbyFestivalSpirit as we honor the traditions of spring in the Derby City.

Are you a local that wants to get in on the fun? We have some decorating tips to make your #PegasusPorchParade stand out.
