Breakfast - TWIG & LEAF* - Established in 1962, Twig & Leaf is not only a diner but local favorite that proudly serves traditional cuisine in a vintage building.
BLUEGRASS INDOOR KARTING - Determine who’s the fastest in the group at Bluegrass Indoor Karting. Experience speeds up to 40-mph on this 1000’ indoor go-kart track.
JEPTHA CREED DISTILLERY - Owned and operated by a dynamic mother-and-daughter team, Jeptha Creed sits on 64 acres of farmland, where they grow the Bloody Butcher Corn used for all their products. Jeptha Creed uses old fashioned methods to meet today’s demanding modern tastes.
LOUISVILLE SEGWAY TOUR - Glide along the Louisville waterfront on the Waterfront Park Tour, where your group will coast over the Big Four Pedestrian Bridge and encounter award-winner urban art and sculptures by local artists.
Lunch - NAÏVE* - Fresh, local & inspired fare is the premise behind Naïve. This fast-casual, plant-based eatery strives to feature 75% local and organic on their menu that ranges from vegetarian to meat option for all types of diets.
COPPER & KINGS AMERICAN BRANDY - Based in Butchertown, Copper & Kings is making dynamic American style brandy. Tour this modern distillery, where guests will learn about the brandy distilling process. Visitors will also tour the 75% underground, naturally climate-controlled brandy cellar where the barrels are sonically aged through music.
SOUR MASH TOURS - As Louisville’s only guided, walking bourbon tasting experience, you will enjoy an expansive and interactive tasting experience that no single distillery can provide. Tour guides lead bourbon tastings through some of Louisville’s most vibrant neighborhoods at some of their favorite bars and restaurants. Each bourbon tour features samples of at least nine brands across stops at three of Louisville’s finest establishments for bourbon and whiskey lovers, all within easy walking distance.
Dinner - GARAGE BAR*– As you cruise down to Garage Bar, be on the lookout for the art installation out front that simulates a slow crash, the light-up ping pong table and the furniture that looks like hedges! A nod to its roots as a historic saloon, Garage Bar serves up ice cold draft and bottled craft beers, Kentucky Bourbons, seasonal cocktails, and wine. The casual neighborhood spot features pizzas from a wood-fired brick oven, Southern specialties, and delectable seafood, with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients. P.S. If you’ve seen the movie Elizabethtown, Garage Bar’s former life as a service station is showcased in one of the scenes between Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst.
After dinner - FALLS CITY TAPROOM - Founded in 1905 and re-opened in 2010 with a passion for making beer and celebrating the rich brewing history of Louisville, Falls City Taproom believes there is a beer for every occasion and for every person.
TOAST ON MARKET* - Begin the day with a fabulous breakfast of pancakes, French toast, or omelets at Toast on Market, located in the NULU gallery district in downtown Louisville.
LOUISVILLE QUEST - Part race, part scavenger hunt, part sightseeing tour—it’s like the “Amazing Race,” but Louisville-style. The Louisville Quest is a great way to explore downtown Louisville. Answer questions and solve puzzles to see who can finish the race in the fastest time…all while seeing the sights of Louisville.
KENTUCKY PEERLESS DISTILLERY - While it is one of the newest distilleries in downtown Louisville and home to the only urban bourbon rickhouse in the city, Kentucky Peerless is an old family brand that is steeped in four generations of rich history dating back to the 1860s.
LOUISVILLE SLUGGER MUSEUM & FACTORY - You can’t miss the 120-foot-tall Louisville Slugger bat welcoming you to the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. See how the famous bats are made, hold bats actually used by baseball’s superstars, experience what it’s like to face a 90-mile-per-hour fastball, or take a sing with historic replica bats in the batting cages. You even get to take a mini Slugger bat home with you!
MUHAMMAD ALI CENTER - Stroll through the award-winning, multicultural center dedicated to the life and legacy of Louisville’s native son, Muhammad Ali. Learn the story behind Ali’s incredible live and the core principles that fueled his journey to become the “Greatest of All Time.” You can event step into the boxing ring and take on the Champ, see a replica of the infamous red bike that started his boxing career, and get an up-close look at the Olympic torch he used to light the cauldron at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
EVAN WILLIAMS BOURBON EXPERIENCE – This artisanal distillery celebrates the legacy of Evan Williams, Kentucky’s first distiller. Guests will journey through an immersive tour experience that brings to life the history and traditions of Kentucky’s native spirit complete with a tasting of those spirits.
Dinner - AGAINST THE GRAIN* - Against The Grain Brewery and Smokehouse is Louisville's first brewer-owned brewery and, like most worthwhile undertakings, the product of dissatisfaction with the status quo. AtG is committed to providing the highest quality beers, ranging from classical styles, to a variety of innovative ales and lagers and a line of house made sodas that the whole family can enjoy! Our smokehouse fare coupled with our fresh and local approach, will satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike.
After Dinner - LOUISVILLE BATS – Finish up your day cheering on the Louisville Bats, the minor league team for the Cincinnati Reds, at Louisville Slugger Field. Situated in downtown Louisville near Waterfront Park, a Louisville Bats game has everything from hearing the crack of the bat to great ballpark food to a kid’s area with a carousel. After the game, be sure to stick around for the Friday Night Fireworks show. Or a LOUISVILLE CITY FC Soccer game. The Louisville City FC is a professional soccer club playing at Louisville Slugger Field. Experience the excitement before the game when the fans, The Coopers, march into the stadium dressed in the colors of their favorite team.
