Day One

Let the Louisville Bicycle Tours crew guide you on a one-of-a-kind experience in the River City.

Lunch - MERLE’S WHISKEY KITCHEN* - After a cycling tour around town, refuel with some Southern cuisine that features an award-winning menu.

LOUISVILLE SLUGGER MUSEUM & FACTORY - You can’t miss the 120-foot-tall Louisville Slugger bat welcoming you to the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. See how the famous bats are made, hold bats actually used by baseball’s superstars, experience what it’s like to face a 90-mile-per-hour fastball, or take a sing with historic replica bats in the batting cages. You even get to take a mini Slugger bat home with you!

KENTUCKY DERBY MUSEUM - Experience the greatest 2 minutes in racing at the Kentucky Derby Museum. Be a part of the thrills and traditions of the race as you watch the “Greatest Race” in a 360-degree theatre. Step into the announcer’s booth and call the play-by-play for the race, or try on the jockey silks and climb aboard a race horse to see who in the family has first place bragging rights. Tour the historic Churchill Downs to learn the history of the track and see up close the famous track itself. Before leaving, be sure to grab an afternoon snack, like a slice of the famous Derby Pie or Bourbon Bread Pudding, at the Derby Café.

LOUISVILLE MEGA CAVERN – A man-made, 17-mile cavern lies beneath the city of Louisville, and is home to four unique attractions. One of the largest caverns in the U.S., the Louisville Mega Cavern offers a historical tram tour of the cavern, the Mega Quest ropes course, the only underground zip line course—Mega Zips, and first of its kind Mega Underground Bikes Course with over 12 miles of interconnected trails.
