Day One
Morning
Gralehaus– Housed inside an Original Highlands Victorian home built in 1905, the Gralehaus is a working coffee haus and café featuring farm fresh, made-from-scratch foods and KY Proud Products.
Morning/Afternoon
Paoli Peaks– Spend the day skiing, snowboarding, and snow-tubing less than an hour away from Louisville! Located in the rolling hills of Southern Indiana, Paoli Peaks boasts 15 trails, 8 lifts, multiple ‘learn to ski’ terrains and a top to bottom beginner trail, and an Arctic Blast Snow-tubing area that features 10 lanes that are 700 feet long.
Evening
Porch– Serving comfort food with a southern flair and craft cocktails, it what helps created a warm and inviting atmosphere with a spirited energy throughout The Porch.
Day Two
Morning
Highland Morning (Highlands)- This quaint café features a menu of homestyle Southern-style fare served all-day in lively superhero themed spot.
Louisville Mega Cavern- Stretching for 17 miles under the city of Louisville, the Mega Cavern is home to four one-of-a-kind attractions. From explore the history of the cavern on the tram tour to a ropes course to the world’s only underground zip line course and the world’s only underground bike park--let your underground adventure begin today.
Kentucky Derby Museum- Experience the greatest 2 minutes in racing as you watch the “Greatest Race” in a 360-degree theatre. Tour the historic Churchill Downs to learn the history of the track to see the famous track up close.
Afternoon
Burger Boy- Located in Old Louisville, for over 50 years this low-key restaurant is open 24/7 and serves up classic American diner fare from burgers to deli sandwiches.
Evan Williams Bourbon Experience-Situated on Louisville’s historic “Whiskey Row” featuring an artisanal distillery, tours, and tastings. Celebrating the legacy of Evan Williams-- Kentucky’s first distiller, this immersive experience brings to life the history and tradition of Kentucky’s native spirit.
Muhammad Ali Center–Stroll through the award-winning, multicultural center dedicated to the life and legacy of Louisville native son, Muhammad Ali. Learn about Ali’s incredible life that fueled his journey become the “Greatest of All Time.” Step into the boxing ring and take on the Champ, discover the story behind his infamous red bike that started his boxing career, and see the Olympic torch he used to light the cauldron at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Evening
Troll Pub- This subterranean bar has a sizable beer list and cocktail menu to delight your senses. While you’re there keep an eye out for the hidden room behind a bookcase near the bar.
OVRDRIVE- Downtown Louisville's premier entertainment destination with racing simulators, VR games, axe throwing & a rage room.
Day Three
Morning
SWAY- Sway brings southern fare inspired by the rich heritage of the region to Fourth Street. The seasonal menu combines the flavors of southern kitchens, American favorites, and Sunday dinners with the freshest ingredients from local farms.
Indiana Caverns– Spend part of the day exploring Indiana’s longest cage. Your tour will include an underground boat ride, an amazing waterfall, ice age bones, examining a diverse ecosystem and lots of rock formations.
Afternoon
The Hall on Washington-Paying homage to the German population who once lived and worked in Louisville in the early days, dine in an open-air German bier Hall, with an urban twist—in the heart of Whiskey Row.
Kentucky Peerless Distillery-The first Peerless whiskey went into barrels in the 1889, and in 2015, Peerless Whiskey was revived by 4th & 5th generations of the family almost 100 years later. Stop by for a tour of this state-of-the-art facility to discover by Food Network’s Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio lists Kentucky Peerless Rye among one of his favorites.
Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory-You can’t miss the 120-foot-tall Louisville Slugger bat welcoming you to the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. See how the famous bats are made, hold bats used by baseball’s superstars, experience what it’s like to face a 90-mile-per-hour fastball, or take a sing with historic replica bats in the batting cages. Be sure to grab your own mini Slugger bat to take home with you!
Frazier History Museum-Explore over 1,000 years of history throughout the Frazier History Museum with interactive exhibits, hands-on learning opportunities, and seeing history come to life through costumed actors who bring visitors face-to-face with some of the events and people who changed the world.
Evening
