Giving A Helping Hand While Dining Out
LOUISVILLE’S RESTAURANT WEEK OFFERS COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR TWO AREA NON-PROFITS
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (February 6, 2020) – Dining out locally and helping area charities will go hand-in-hand with the premiere of Louisville Restaurant Week February 24 - March 1. This dining out focused week will encourage locals to experience Louisville’s lively culinary scene with a pre-fixe three course menu for $26, $36 or $46 at participating restaurants. In addition, one dollar of every meal purchased during Louisville Restaurant Week will be donated to the Coalition for the Homeless to support the Rx: Housing Fund and to Goodwill Industries of Kentucky Soft Skills Academy. These programs work to help those in need get into housing and develop the skills needed to obtain sustainable jobs in the workforce.

Louisville continues to gain national exposure as a culinary destination. USA Today proclaimed Bourbon City one of “30 U.S. Cities with Underrated Food Scenes” while Wallet Hub named Louisville a “Best Foodie City.”
Current participating restaurants include: 8Up Elevated Drinkery & Kitchen, Brasserie Provence, Bob’s Steak & Chop House, Charr'd Bourbon Kitchen & Lounge, Fork & Barrel, Four Pegs, LouVino, Mark's Feed Store, Morton's the Steakhouse, Napa River Grill, Neighborhood Services, Porch Kitchen & Bar, Proof on Main, Repeal, Sarino, The Melting Pot and Walker's Exchange - with more to be announced.
Each restaurant will have the ability to highlight fan favorites as well as introduce some new menu items to their guests throughout the week. A similar giving back Restaurant Week was held in Cincinnati last April and raised $23,698 to benefit Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.For more information about Louisville Restaurant Week, visit www.louisvillerestaurantweek.com.
