Position Overview
Responsible for cleanliness of vehicles per Pegasus Global standards. Assist Fleet Manager with routine inspections, maintenance, and condition of vehicles.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per Pegasus Global standards
Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior per Pegasus Global standards
Wash and rinse the vehicle’s exterior with spot free water - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks
Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshields for damage; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
Fuel if needed and stage vehicle
Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
Responsible for wearing proper personal protection equipment (PPE) when necessary and ensuring cleaning, detailing, washing and sanitization supplies are available
Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Work closely with Fleet Manager on all matters related to vehicle condition, performance, etc.
Position Requirements
Must be at least 25 years of age
Clean Driving record for the preceding 3-year period
Must be able to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen in accordance with Pegasus Global requirements
Special Requirements
Jobs will be performed inside and outside and will require frequent walking and strenuous activity daily
Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
